“A great revolution in just one single individual will help achieve a change in the destiny of a society and, further, will enable a change in the destiny of humankind.” – Buddhist philosopher, Daisaku Ikeda.
In order to create a better society, we assist people with their own personal revolutions seeking to create social and economic advancement by fighting for freedom, justice, and equality for the impoverished masses regardless of the person’s race, religion, nationality, citizenship, immigration status, or socio-economic status. We believe that the first step to such personal social and economic change is a stable and healthy home environment.
As a result, we aggressively defend the rights of tenants in the safety and security of their home to establish a base for them to prosper, advance, and contribute positively to society as a whole. We defend tenants. We stop unlawful evictions. We prevent homelessness.
I'm being evicted. What do I do?
If you are being evicted, you and/or your family are losing your home, you are not only facing trying to find another place to live, but also the costs of moving, disconnecting and reconnecting utilities, and a security deposit, among others. Therefore, eviction proceedings can be really important, especially if you don’t think that you have violated your rental agreement, or if you think that your landlord is wrongfully evicting you. The best way to be prepared for eviction proceedings is to consult experienced legal counsel especially when your home is at stake.
