In these challenging times, BASTA Inc. is OPEN and continues to help tenants. For the health and safety of our community and the entire BASTA team, we will generally be assisting clients by telephone. BASTA also maintains the highest levels of technology and integrated communications to comprehensively serve our clients' needs and all tenants in times of crisis.
If you have received a "Summons," "Unlawful Detainer Complaint," or a "Notice of Unlawful Detainer," please call us immediately and make an appointment, so we can file a response to the eviction case. BASTA has established in-office health and safety protocols to protect clients, employees, and visitors. We are still filing Answers to eviction lawsuits to protect your rights.

Because of the large call volume, please leave us a message if you do not reach a live representative, and we will call you back as soon as possible. Founded in 2005, BASTA is dedicated to advocating for tenants' rights, preventing homelessness, and eliminating substandard housing. With nearly 20 courtroom and trial-ready attorneys and four full-service offices, BASTA is the premier tenant rights organization in the County of Los Angeles.
